Self-ligating bracket Orthodontic technology is a new technology which has revolutionized the fixed orthodontic technology. The main advantage of bracket self-ligating is to reduce the friction resistance between arch wire and bracket greatly. Because the bracket self-ligating adds a door onto the bracket, it can lock the orthodontic wire directly in the groove of the bracket, eliminating the binding of the ligated wire or elastic ring to the orthodontic wire.

1. The size 0.42*0.42mm allows the double archwire technique to be used in special cases( the physician can use a light force of archwire through the auxiliary slot to maintain proper biological force)
